Airport:
To reach the villages of the Rota Vicentina, the Airport Lisbon is the best choice for all villages north of Vila do Bispo.
The Airport Faro is the best choice for Vila do Bispo and Sagres.
To get from Lisbon or any other place to the start/end-point there are basically two possibilities:
a) Train
The trains run in the interiour away from the coast. From the Train Station usually you need to take a bus or a taxi to get to your destination.

b) Bus
There are various bus companies in the south of Portugal.

Special Dangers:
The only real danger during the hike is the strong sun radiation. Sun protection is absolutely necessary. Especially along the coast, where its often dificult to notice the strong sun radiation.
